As the COVID-19 situation continues to evolve, we remain focused on the health and well-being of our employees, their families and the community while maintaining business continuity. We believe it is vital that we do our part to continue supporting the needs of our partners and customers. The economic impacts of COVID-19 are uncertain. Enthermics is an essential business that supports the medical industry. We are dedicated to supporting our customers and partners during these uncertain times, as our team works together as one team, one goal.

Enthermics is closely monitoring the latest information on coronavirus COVID-19, as released by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and the World Health Organization (WHO). We are proactively taking measures to anticipate employees’ needs, focus on prevention, and implement a proactive plan to minimize potential business disruptions. Please refer to the CDC website for more information and resources at

Enthermics has taken a proactive supply chain and operations approach to preventing potential order interruptions.  Currently, we do not see any risk related to coronavirus (COVID-19) for current orders due to ship before May 1, 2020.

We are closely monitoring and proactively assessing risks on a daily basis. As the situation evolves daily, we are working with our supply partners to maintain production integrity.  Our supply partners are required to maintain 60+ days in raw material inventories as well as 30+ days of finished product, mitigating some of the immediate risks.  Some Enthermics partners--located in countries with a Level 2-4 Travel Health Notice, issued by the CDC—have already started migrating production to alternate sites that are outside of the high-risk regions.

Enthermics will continue to monitor potential disruptions with our supply base in an effort to minimize potential impact to our customers. We will provide ongoing updates on the situation, as it relates to current orders. If you have any questions, please contact our customer service department at 1-800-862-9276.

All non-essential international and domestic work travel by plane or public transportation is prohibited for the next 30 days until further notice. According to the CDC, cases of COVID-19 are growing globally, including reported cases in many parts of the United States. Crowded travel settings, like airports, may increase risk of exposure to COVID-19. Examples of non-essential travel include:

  • Travel for meetings that could be handled virtually (via conference call, video conferencing, etc.)
  • Travel for corporate events, tradeshows, training, etc.

Non-essential visitors are prohibited at all Enthermics facilities until further notice. An example of an essential visitor are those that ensure business continuity, such as the need for critical equipment maintenance, vendor managed inventory or deliveries. Non-essential meetings and visits will be held through video or phone conferencing.

Visitors should be educated on and follow our recommended prevention procedures for cleanliness.

We continue to increase proactive measures to protect our employees, including ongoing, expanded cleaning of our common areas and workstations. Our employees have varying needs during this time, and we want to remain as flexible as possible, while supporting our customers in critical industries.

Enthermics is advising all employees to follow prevention guidelines issued by the Centers for Disease and Control (CDC) to ensure the health and safety of our employees, their families and our customers, including:

  • Employees with symptoms should stay home and not come to work until they are free of symptoms for at least 24 hours, without the use of fever-reducing or other symptom-altering medicines. Any visibly sick employees will be sent home immediately.
  • Employees are advised to clean their hands often with an alcohol-based hand sanitizer and wash their hands with soap and water for at least 20 seconds if hands are visibly dirty. Hand sanitizers have been installed outside of major entry and exit points at our offices.
  • Enthermics has expanded daily cleaning in all workspaces, countertops and doorknobs.
  • Employees are advised to cover their mouth and nose with a tissue when they cough or sneeze and dispose of used tissues in a wastebasket.
